Brooke is a Seattle native who found herself cooking at a young age.  She followed her passion and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.  There she competed in cooking competitions both nationally and internationally. After graduation Brooke worked for Cafe Oma in Bogota, Colombia as their research and development chef.  Brooke’s never-ending love for education in the industry has recently earned her certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers.  

Tomas Perez

Tomas was raised in Santa Marta, Colombia.  He grew up in a family that valued their Colombian heritage in both cooking and Latin Dancing! Tomas has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and started his first business at the age of 17. After studying in Bogota, it was then that Tomas combined his passion for coffee, his entrepreneurial spirit and his business expertise and started his first coffee business.         


Brooke and Tomas met in Bogota in 2014. They fell in love not only with each other, but with the food, culture and energy that Colombia brought.  Soon after they moved back to Tomas’s home town and opened a successful coffee shop and bakery in an International Marina in Santa Marta.   They have relocated back to Seattle and once again have combined their skills in culinary excellence with business innovation and today bring you table.
